That's NAK (NVIDIA Athlon cluster in Kentucky, pronounced "N-Ack"). It's a 64-node NVIDIA GPU cluster built using components recycled from KASY0. At a total cost of less than $6,000, it's a very green way to demonstrate our principle of code running within GPUs such that most of the time nothing but power and ground are asked of the host systems. That's our machine room; NAK is on the left of the image. This view is updated roughly every 45s. It is captured under computer control using an RS232C interface to command a Nikon 950 digital camera with 183-degree fisheye lens. Amazingly, that digital still camera has taken well over 3,000,000 images and is still working!
